For our first Blue Moon podcast episode, we encouraged listeners to submit art that represented some of the topics we had discussed and are crucial to Ayurveda. If you haven’t caught that episode, click HERE. This is what our listener shared with us, enjoy!
Hi Nicklas and Kalpesh,
I am so excited to contribute to your Blue Moon podcast art call!
As soon as I heard your call to submit artsy things to your next podcast, one specific painting of mine came to my mind. I love this one, because for me it represents the overflowing abundance and love of God.
It is called: “My cup overfloweth”. Mixed media collage, 8×10 inches.
This morning during my Sadhana an inspiration for a poem came to my mind. It nicely weaves the theme of the five elements, the painting, and my love for Krishna together. Enjoy!
Poem:
My cup overfloweth because I love Krisha
Do you hear the chant of Krishna beyond the airy bubbles?
Do you hear the chant of Krishna echoing through space and time?
Do you hear the chant of Krishna pulsating within the heat of fire?
Do you hear the chant of Krishna by the touch of cool water?
Do you hear the chant of Krishan while cloaked in the darkness of earth?
My cup overfloweth because I love Krishna.
